Microalgae of Rosella Ridge

A 36-page visual field collection from Rosella Ridge, a family property in the Byron Bay hinterland being regenerated from former macadamia farmland toward native Big Scrub rainforest.

As the land recovers, life is returning at every scale. This collection follows that recovery into the water, documenting the algae, protists and other microscopic organisms that are part of the rebuilding biodiversity.

Through microscopy, photography and field notes, Microalgae of Rosella Ridge becomes a record of regeneration unfolding at a scale rarely seen.
